Welcome to my website!

My name is Jaqueline Leite, and I'm so excited to introduce myself to all of you.

I am a Brazilian surface pattern designer currently living in Ireland with my Italian amore husband and my adorable little girl.

Life is always an adventure around here, but designing patterns is my true passion!

As a surface pattern designer, my days are filled with color, texture, joy and endless creativity.

I love nothing more than experimenting with fun and funky designs, tweaking and playing with different combinations until I get that "ooh la la!" moment.

And when my designs come to life on everything from fabric to wallpaper and beyond? It's like being a kid in a candy store - pure excitement and joy.

But the best part of being a designer? Seeing people enjoy and use what I create! It's like a little piece of me goes out into the world with each pattern I create. To add a bit of personality and style to someone else's project, make me so happy.

And that's what it's all about - sharing the love and creativity with others.

How it started?

My journey to becoming a surface pattern designer is a story that's very close to my heart. It all began when I was on the hunt for the perfect floral dress to wear to a dear friend's wedding. As I combed through store after store, I couldn't seem to find the dress of my dreams. But little did I know that my search for the perfect dress would lead me to an even greater discovery.

That's when I stumbled upon a world of stunning and unique designs created by people just like me ( that did not have any clue about pattern design ☺️) !

I was absolutely amazed by the idea that anyone could create their own patterns and also sell them online.

I couldn't help but feel drawn to this exciting new world of creative possibilities.

Despite not having any prior experience in pattern design.

I decided to take the plunge and start learning a bit every day. I opened my shop on Spoonflower, to be able to show my work and sell my patterns. Sure, I was a bit nervous and uncertain at first, but my passion for creating something beautiful overpowered any doubts I had.

I am still learning something new everyday, and with every step, I am becoming more confidence and with more experience. It is all that matters for me.

I truly believe that with hard work, dedication, and a little bit of courage, anyone can pursue their dreams and turn them into reality.
